My biggest reason for becoming a hairstylist was being able to make women feel beautiful and confident.  Anyone can look great, but to be able to have confidence is incredible.

When I was a little girl around the age of 6, I developed an auto immune disease called Alopecia Areata. Alopecia Areata is a sudden hair loss that starts with one or more circular bald patches that may overlap. There is no cure, only treatments that may or may not help. The treatments inclue things like steroid creams and shots that are administered into the head where the bald patches exist. Very painful!

When this started as a little girl you can imagine how hard it was to go to school with bald spots. I quickly learned how to hide and conceal my bald spots,  so the kids at school would not make fun of me. Seeing then, the confidence I had after learning how to conceal my own bald spots and still being able to feel beautiful was enough for me to know this was completely what I wanted to do for others! I knew if I could do it for myself I could help others learn how to deal with issues they had with their hair. Then began my journey...

One of my biggest passions about my wonderful beauty industry is the unlimited amounts of education, that I take to make me the best stylist I can be for my clients. My education started at Conroe High School where I trained as a cosmetologist and earned my cosmetologist license.  I competed in several hair shows in my early career. The biggest game changer for me though has been becoming a certified master hair colorist with two different hair color companies. 

 

I have certifications in hair cutting and texturizing. I have been certified in razor hair cuts. I am certified in blonding and balayage. I am a certified hair color correction specialist. I am also certified in hair extensions. 

 

The education does not end there. The endless number of color , extensions, styling, cutting and business classes I take each year keeps fueling not only my skills but my passion for what I do. I am a huge out of the box thinker so being able to take what I learn and put my own artistic twists on things just excites me. Hair is my canvas and I love to create and transform both your beauty and confidence all at once.

The learning does not stop with me. I will take time to teach you and help you to achieve the healthiest hair you can have. Each client will go home with a little styling tip or trick to help keep at home maintenance a breeze!
